Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) is a network of minority agriculture and natural resources students and professionals. The national society of MANRRS promotes academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in agriculture, natural resources and related sciences.

UK MANRRS

The UK MANRRS chapter hosts activities that support academic and professional development and achievement in the Lexington area.

Membership is open to anyone committed to fostering representation and equal opportunities in agriculture, natural resources and related sciences. Membership categories include student, professional, associate and business.

  • Student: A student member is an undergraduate or graduate enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited educational institution.

  • Professional/Associate/Business: A professional member is employed and is not enrolled as a full-time student at any higher education institution.

To become a member:

  • Attend our general body meetings and pay your membership fees to our local chapter, or

UK Junior MANRRS Program

The UK Junior MANRRS Program aims to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering, agricultural and mathematics (STEAM) fields.

We encourage underrepresented students in grades 7-12 to attend college and pursue agriculture, natural resources and environmental sciences degrees. You are welcome here.
