Event Description

Nearly two years ago, the launch of ChatGPT made Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) widely accessible to the public. Since then, educators have been exploring the rapidly evolving implications of GenAI on teaching and learning. Join us for an interactive workshop facilitated by CELT leadership to examine the current state of GenAI, its opportunities and challenges in education, and anticipated future developments. The session will also include a discussion on the ongoing ethical issues surrounding GenAI.

Speakers

Associate Director Jill Abney, Ph.D., and Director Trey Conatser, Ph.D., University of Kentucky’s Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT)

About the Sow and Grow Speaker Series
