Event Description

In this workshop, we take a deep dive into the concept of cultural humility. Participants discuss behaviors and practices that foster better-informed relationships with populations. Through self-reflection and dialogue, participants will examine how our respective cultures and identities influence our interactions with others and how to better navigate cultural interactions and relationships on college campuses.

The Sow and Grow Speaker Series is an initiative dedicated to sowing the seeds of inspiration, knowledge and collaboration within the Martin-Gatton CAFE community, both on and off campus. Our series aims to foster growth in individuals and communities, nurturing a culture of empowerment. Through engaging speakers, interactive workshops and meaningful discussions, we strive to cultivate connections, share insights and harvest wisdom that enriches our college community experience and extends beyond campus boundaries.
